PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - NATIONWIDE - FULL TIME OR PART TIME

What We're Looking For
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time-management skills

What You'll Do
Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
Carry out therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, range of motion, and balance
Monitor and document patient progress, and report changes to the Physical Therapist
Teach patients and families exercises and home techniques that support continued progress
Coordinate care with the Physical Therapist and other members of the healthcare team
Keep accurate, timely patient documentation
Follow facility policies, safety and infection control protocols, and state and federal regulations
